The popularity of online video sessions have risen recently, partly because of the Covid-19 virus, but also because the internet is such a versatile tool these days.
Online therapy can offer a bridge between opting to experience therapy in your own home, but with the additional aspect of us being able to see each other. With this option, some visual and experiential techniques can be used to enhance your therapeutic experience, which some people may see as an alternative to one to one work.
Online sessions are usually held through Zoom, or WhatsApp Video where password or encryption protects the security and confidentiality of the session.
If you feel that you would prefer to experience therapy from your own home, but be able to see your therapist, online work may be an effective option.
Online sessions cost £40 for 50 minutes, with a slightly reduced rate for the initial session.
